Vanessa Washington is a Licensed Professional Counselor and who works with teenage and adult individuals. Vanessa integrates a cultural, racial, and ethnic lens into her work, as it pertains to individual development, processing the impact of cultural trauma and healthy identity formation. Vanessa provides counseling for those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, behavioral issues and self-esteem/worth symptoms. She also works with those experiencing relational conflict and co-parenting concerns pre and post-divorce. Vanessa has experience working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, physical and sexual abuse and those who have been involved in the Child Welfare system. Vanessa works collaboratively and realistically with her clients in order to support, challenge, and empower them to meet their goals in such a way that promotes health, fosters change and maximizes wellness in all spheres of life.
